Wayne Township Cemetery Fees

Lots = $300

Open & Close Fee = $500 Weekday/Non-Holiday
Open & Close Fee = $750 Saturday/Holidays

Cremation Burial Fee = $200 Weekday/Non-Holiday
Cremation Burial Fee = $250 Saturday/Holidays

No Sunday Burials

Foundation = $0.75 per square inch, Minimum $150
Memorial Foot Markers = $50

Cemetery Clean Up
Clean Up Dates - March 1 to 15 & October 1 to 15
Any arrangements/decorations to be saved must be removed during cleanup dates

Decorations
No more than 2 decorations allowed per grave - additional decoration allowed for observation of Memorial Day
No decorative benches without Board approval
No trees, shrubs or perennials to be planted without permission from Board of Trustees
Any plants, flowers, pots or decorations not cared for                          will be removed

Burials/Funerals
Cemetery Board has the right to schedule times for all burials, funerals or other services
There will be no burials or funerals on Sundays or Holidays*
*Holidays Observed: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving & Christmas Day

Gravels/Monuments
Each grave lot may have only one casket burial per grave, or one casket & one cremation burial per grave,                                          or two cremation burials per grave

Cemetery Grounds
Cemetery is closed from Dusk to Dawn
Do not drive on grass
Please be respectful of the cemetery and                                                 help keep it neat and attractive

Burial Service/Interment Rules
Vault companies’ trucks and trailers shall not remain at the burial site during grave side service. Alternate parking, at the cemetery building or Church lot is available.
Representative from funeral home shall remain on site until casket is sealed in the vault.
The hearse or other funeral home vehicle may be requested to remain onsite if casket needs to be moved after the graveside service.
Cemetery and Township employees shall not carry caskets without prior approval from a Trustee or Cemetery Sexton. If handling of casket is approved, Cemetery and/or Township Employees shall exercise due care in handling of casket but shall assume no liability for the damage to any casket.
An addition fee may be charged to funeral home if closing of grave is deemed to be delayed by a ‘funeral home’s contractor’ for a longer than normal or excessive amount of time. This fee will be at the discretion of the Cemetery Board of Trustees.
